My head is unfortunately oval shaped. I hate it! My face always looks long, and to me it doesnt look nomral =/ What hairstyles would suit me best, or even make my head look less oval-ish?

Happy New Years Eve!

its perfect for oval shaped heads because it makes it look less oval and they fall perfectly on your face.

long and straight = dont do it!
wear it with soft waves and scrunch it.
try shoulder length hair or chin length.

I have an oval face too! I think I look like a horse, but my friends with round faces say they wish theirs was longer. I guess the grass is always greener! We look good in glasses, at least :)

Every good stylist I’ve ever been to parts my hair on the side and makes sweeping bangs across the front of my face. It makes your face look a little shorter and draws attention to your jaw and cheekbones. Straight, sleek styles work very well on oval faces. If you want to wear your hair up, try a low-ish ponytail or a big bun/chignon thing toward the nape of your neck.

If your hair is longish, you can also do the half curl thing – the messy waves look the movie stars love… blow your hair out but don’t make it too straight, and plug in a 1 inch barrel curling iron (the big one). Get it really hot. Grab about an inch wide section of hair and close the curling iron about two inches from the ends of your hair, not at the very bottom. Curl the iron up until about 2 inches from your scalp, and hold it up and down. Pull it out and spray it with a light hairspray, like Bumble & Bumble classic hairspray. Do this all over your head and don’t brush it out.

Don’t do the pouf thing – it just elongates your head, unfortunately. Same goes for big fussy updos on the top of an oval head.

I have naturally very curly hair, and it looks terrible around my oval face. Curly hair is cute on girls with heart shaped faces, but it doesn’t work on me!

    Have fun!

ok… so i would just say that alot of people have oval shaped heads and even if u don’t like it everyone doesn’t like something about themselves…

    so…………
side bangs – or bangs – will make ur forehead look less long – if u have a long forhead
also make sure u don’t grown ur hair TOO Long! no more then like 4 inches past ur shoulders. ur face will look longer!

try loose side braids that come down in front of ur shoulders

whenever u have ur hair completely pulled back pull a few peices of hair comeing down in front of ur hair to frame ur face.

or just straighten ur hair! don’t forget to use heat protectant!
